Flea market season is well underway and I can't wait to hit the Nashville Flea Market this weekend! I have enjoyed hitting up the Clover Market in Philadelphia the past few weeks but so far nothing has compared to the Nashville Flea. It is amazing and definitely worth the trip. It is held the fourth weekend of every month so be sure and check the dates.
Here are a few of the things I snagged last year. My mom and I went two days in a row! There is a lot to see and my best piece of advice is when you see it, grab it!
One of my favorite purchases was this vintage crate! You may have seen it in the Baseball Party To-Go post a few months back! It was a $20 find and has so many uses! I love how it says "Par-T-Pak" on the side!
This vintage galvanized tub STILL has not made it home with me because it wouldn't fit in my car last year and was too big to carry on the plane over Christmas. I hope I can get it back this trip. This was a $20 buck steal as they had ones in worse shape all over the market that day for more than double the price! I'm planning on using it to store the kids toys outside...when I can get it home.
I love pieces handcrafted out of reclaimed wood. This chalkboard was less than $20 and was a perfect size. I love the neutral color too and can't wait to hang this one up in the new house.
Another $20 find! This galvanized letter "R" reminded me of a piece I saw in the RH Baby & Child catalog! This will definitely be going in Reid's room in the new house. It's fun and rustic!
Lastly, one of my favorite finds from the market! An old window pane from a house in South Carolina! I scored this one for under $20 as well and they had them selling for far more in other parts of the market. I liked the 6 panes on this one and plan on stripping it, repainting it and then distressing it a bit. Just another project on my LONG list of to-dos!
I can't wait to head back there this weekend! Crossing my fingers it will be a weekend full of fun finds! Check back next week to see my flea market finds!
