I can finally say I have another room down!! YAY! The house has truly been a "project" and we have been taking our time decorating and putting the finishing touches room by room. Thank goodness I am patient! All it took to complete our breakfast nook was this amazing wall clock from Pier 1! For me, it was a bit of a release of my inner Joanna Gaines!
With two entire walls of windows and then one large wall, I had to compensate for something big and a statement piece. This clock does just that! The hubby jokes the neighbors next door can see it (ha ha!) It really blends so well with our entire living space as it's one open room into the kitchen and family room. I love the aged wood look and the galvanized numbers that match our dining chairs and appliances.
One of my most favorite light fixtures hangs in this room and it was worth the wait! It is from Creative Coop and I scored it on Wayfair back in the fall. It is truly worth the splurge!
Handy hubby made the white farmhouse table that I painted in Snow White milk paint by General Finishes and then lightly distressed. It is perfectly imperfect as well call it. The dining chairs are from Restoration Hardware and are the Remy chair in gunmetal.
Eventually when we have more time, we are planning on adding some board and batten to the walls to add a bit more character but for now I am in love and can mark this room off the list!
