With Halloween behind us and Christmas around the corner, it's time to ditch the pumpkins on the front porch and prep for Thanksgiving! If you don't know already, I can't even think about decorating for Christmas until after the Thanksgiving leftovers are all gone and forgotten. I like to cherish each holiday one by one...while others are starting to already put up their Christmas trees!
Believe it or not, I have already killed 3 sets of mums! I'm not sure if it's me or the warm fall weather but I really wanted my porch to look "fall-ish" since we are hosting Thanksgiving this year. So I picked up some new mums and decided to get some in this pretty fall red! They were a great transition color going into Christmas!
I added them to my good 'ole, ever fail olive buckets! I swear I could have hundreds of them sitting around. They truly are the perfect planter, no matter the season! I am also crushing on these blue-gray pumpkins. No orange ones for me this year! I am loving the neutral colors all these pumpkins are coming in this year. I also snagged some new lanterns of the front porch at Ikea!
And there you have it! My fall front porch! And just in time for Thanksgiving! I am keeping it all simple this year!
