Finally, the season of warmer weather, blooming flowers and longer days is here! Although, I do wish the temperatures felt like spring outside, I am excited for a new season and have been adding touches throughout the house. Tulips have been my go to spring flower and the pop of pink is just what I needed to brighten up our kitchen. Happy spring!
I am slowly but surely putting the finishing touches on my little mister's room. It has been a slow go for some reason from kids getting sick, to my husband getting the flu, broken arms and well, just life! But it is coming together! The room is all painted, I have a few finishing touches on the trim and moulding and over the weekend we added this super cool floating desk to a little nook in his room.
Isn't it just amazing? I will be sharing a full DIY soon but I could not resist sharing a sneak peek! He is absolutely in love with it! AND his tractor stool I scored for $50 at Tractor Supply! He honestly races to his room after school and just colors or draws! It makes us so happy he is so happy with his new desk and room!
Many more details to come, including a few room reveal! Stay tuned!
Happy Tuesday! I wanted to share a sweet little tip to all my home decor lovers and Home Goods shoppers! Did you know that Home Goods often times has coffee table books for half the price? I noticed this a few weeks ago and scored some really great home decor books for a fraction of the price online! I have slowly been adding to my decorating book collection thanks to Home Goods.
Not only are coffee table books great to browse through, they make great eye candy for tables and shelves and are perfect for layering accessories. I love decorating with them!
Here is one of my latest favorite finds! I love Emily Henderson and this book is full of great tips and style! I scored it for only $16 too!
So next time you are in the store, don't pass up this section. You never know what you may find! Happy hunting all!
